Features of the Patellar Fracture
Type
fracture with extensor mechanism (quadriceps mechanism) intact AND not extending to the bone-implant interface AND not extending to the cement

extensor mechanism disrupted OR extending to the bone-implant interface OR extending to the cement

fracture of the inferior pole, with patellar ligament ruptured

fracture of the inferior pole, with patellar ligament intact
3b
fracture with dislocation
