Description

Christensen et al evaluated patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) for comorbid conditions. They modified the Charlson Comorbidity Index (CCI) by creating 10 groups that are more relevant for this population. The authors are from Aarhus University Hospital in Denmark and the Ohio State University.
