Description

Most cases of blast crisis in a patient with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) have blasts that mark as myeloid cells. However, other types of blasts can occur less often.

Primitive blast cells may be difficult to classify.

 

Sometimes the blasts may have features of more than one lineage (bilineage, other)
