Disease of the fallopian tube and ovary can result in permanent impairment that can be quantified using the AMA criteria.

Signs and symptoms of fallopian tube and ovarian disease:
(1) vaginal bleeding or discharge
(2) fallopian tube stenosis or obstruction
(3) pelvic mass
(4) neoplasm
(5) fever and abdominal pain (salpingitis or tubo-ovarian abscess)
(6) absent or abnormal ovulation, infertility
(7) abnormal hormone secretion
(8) menstrual dysfunction
