Description

A disorder of the hypothalamic-pituitary axis can cause impairment that can be measured based on criteria developed by the AMA.

Signs and symptoms:

(1) menstrual cycle abnormalities (woman)

(2) galactorrhea (woman)

(3) polyuria

(4) fatigue

(5) weakness

(6) headache

(7) change in visual fields
