Description

Aerosols can be generated in many ways.


 

Sources of aerosols in the general environment:

(1) animals or people coughing and sneezing

(2) animals urinating

(3) fountains, waterfalls, heavy rain and other sources of falling water

(4) strong winds, especially over water

(5) stampede

(6) burning or heating (including sunlight)

(7) explosion

(8) something large falling

(9) vacuum or negative pressure

(10) flushing a toilet
